As SESSION looks a bit outdated, I tried my luck with ReShade to improve the overall visual quality. And well, the visual "gap" is kinda closed and I hardly recommend taking a session and ride like it's 2021 again.
Note: As the vanilla/ingame fish-eye cam creates artifacts with the preset's DoF, I added a fisheye cam preset as a workaround.

Performance-wise you will loose some frames per second - depending on your specs, ingame settings and preferred resolution. It varies a lot betwen 1080p, 1440p and 2160p.
And with that in mind the following numbers are just a rough estimate for orientation:

• 'SK4T3R' ReShade Preset: ~20%
  
• 'SK4T3R +FishEyeCam' ReShade Preset: ~23%

Just use https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload to check the files. :)

Extract the preferred, or simply both, *.ini files (those are the presets) from the zip archive into your SESSION directory under:
?:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Session\SessionGame\Binaries\Win64\

1. Go to https://reshade.me/ and download the latest version.
2. Now execute and install the downloaded 'ReShade_Setup_6.X.X.exe'.
3. Follow the screenshots, if you're unsure on how to install ReShade properly.
3.1 Choose the correct Game.exe (SESSION in this case) and then choose DirectX 12 version
3.2 Skip the preset selection, afterwards select all Effect Packages
3.3 If you did everything correct, press finish.

If ReShade is installed properly, you'll see a short notification at the top left of your screen every time you launch the game.
1. Ingame press 'HOME' / 'POS1' for enabling/disabling the ReShade Overlay
2. Do the short tutorial for ReShade, or
2.1 Skip the tutorial and set everything as shown in the following screenshot.
2.2 By doing so you can control everything reshade related easily with F6 - F8.
2.3 Recommended: Enable (tick) 'Load only enabled effects', for faster loading times.
3. And finally just select a preset from the drop-down and enable it.
