I enjoyed the story and characters very much, the potion making too, it's an adorable game with lots of potential! What is frustrating is you can't completely enjoy the game mechanics, explore and unlock everything because you're forced to hunt for ingredients to pass the checkpoints on schedule, which can get real stressful (I had to start a second playthrough to be able to pass the last one). Then the game ends and you feel like you haven't seen half of it. I remember a lot of people (me included) asking for an optional no-stress mode with a less demanding schedule. And an endless mode to be able to keep playing. They seemed to be considering doing something about it at the time, not sure if something's changed though, since I stopped following. Though it's overall lovely, it could certainly use a bit of polishing, if memory serves (like excessive clicking to buy and sell stuff and not being able to save potion recipes to do it again later).
