General Information
Entities spawn after spending a random time in the dungeon, and any entity can spawn in any dungeon type. They may despawn after a while, though I'm unsure if this is an intentional mechanic or due to them clipping out of the map.

Threat levels vary greatly between entities, from mostly harmless to extremely dangerous. It's often wise to return to the elevator whenever you notice signs of the more dangerous entities. All entities give audio or visual cues, so make sure to pay attention to this. Most of them are quite obvious.
Bear Trap Spawner

Threat Level
Mostly Harmless

Danger
The Bear Trap Spawner, as the name suggests, spawns bear traps at random places in the dungeon. This is accompanied by a ghostly wailing sound. This entity has no physical appearance, so the only threat comes from the bear traps.

Cues
- Ghostly wailing whenever a bear trap is spawned

Strategy
This entity is by far the least dangerous one, as there's no direct risk of dying as long as you're careful. Just look out for the bear traps and avoid or disarm them as needed. The fastest way to disarm the bear traps is to throw an item at them to trigger them instantly, but you can also do this by interacting with them. Some may be hard to spot, so watch out and consider waiting for a while to regenerate health if it's at half or lower. There's little reason to exit the dungeon if this entity is present, unless starvation or dehydration is a significant concern and you have sufficient reserves.
Stalker (The Spider)

Threat Level
Dangerous

Danger
This entity is pretty basic. If it sees you, it'll try chasing and attacking you. That's pretty much it.

Cues
- Hissing and rattling

Strategy
Just avoid it and run away if chased. It's quite easy to outrun and the damage isn't too high compared to the other entities, but watch out not to get chased into dead ends.
Whistler

Threat Level
Dangerous to Very Dangerous

Danger
The whistler is highly dangerous if encountered unprepared. If it's anywhere within your view, your camera will get drawn to it and it will deal damage to you until no longer in your view. (This includes dying) It can also teleport, making it quite tricky to avoid.

Cues
- Whistling
- Static sound when teleporting or attacking
- Bright white light

Strategy
The best thing to do, like most entities, is avoid it. If you notice this entity being active, never look at any bright light sources. If it catches you with its attack and there's no way to block your vision during it, death is unavoidable. Holding an item to block your vision if attracted helps greatly. If caught by it without an item, blocking vision with walls is your last hope.
Floating Head

Threat Level
Extremely Dangerous

Danger
The Floating Head is the most dangerous enemy in the game. If seen by it, it'll start chasing you and instantly kills you if it reaches you.

Cues
- Screen shaking and distortion
- Various sounds if close or attacking

Strategy
Avoid at all costs. The cues are quite obvious and noticeable from far away, so consider returning to the elevator as soon as you notice any screen shaking. Outrunning it is possible, but don't bet on this being likely in the labyrinthine dungeons. It is possible to block its path with items like the big storage crate, but it is tricky to make this work and should only be used as an emergency tactic.

A few things to note: The Whistling man isn't a contact killer so backing into him in the event he's obscuring a door or tight escape route is possible. Additionally as long as you obscure his legs you'll be safe. The Head's sound queue is akin to wind whistling at far away and escalates to heart beats when getting closer.

They aren't exclusive to each map, also its only one entity at a time.

Are they exclusive to each map?

One question: Does only one entity spawn at a time like there's only one entity per day in each trip to the Depths or can multiple spawn over the course of the day?

Cool guide, btw when dealing with "the bear trap spawner" entitie you can throw an object at the bear traps making them to snap instantly, this is much faster than disarming them and it can be specially usefull when the bear traps are blocking the only way out and its not possible to go arround them.

Also it is technically possible to stop "the floating head" entitie by using the big plastic storage crate as a shield but it is very hard to do it rigth and chances of instant death are probably over 80% so yeah, I always try to run back into the elevator as fast as I can whenever I hear this entitie.
