Salem Approaches.
The trials have begun, and the bells of awakening toll.

The Soul Seeker rises once more, to take by force what was thought lost.

Heed thy warning, for you will die, to outrun her is a foolish man's fight.

Speed's the key, the bells ought not toll, for if they do, the Witch shall have your soul.

Features:
Salem:
A brand new type of threat. After a certain amount of time passes in a floor, She will spawn, pursuing Isaac relentlessly across every room.

Touching Salem will immediately put Isaac into a Lost form for the rest of the floor, similar to Dark Esau. While giving you a single mantle charge and enraging Salem.

You are not expected to survive after touching Salem.

Silver Trinkets:
While Salem is on the floor, all items that aren’t picked up will turn into Silver Trinkets. When touched, they will immediately be added to the player's inventory instead of their pocket.

Mod Interactions:
Full Encyclopedia compatibility.
External Item Descriptions compatibility.
Fully customizable in the Dead Sea Scrolls menu.

I thought that was fixed during testing. In any case you're not softlocked, as you can just grab any story item like the Polaroid to get out of the death certificate place.

in the death certificate room if salem spawns all the items get turned into trinkets and picking them up doesn't kick you out of the dev area

That's a really interesting bug, I keep forgetting cycling items exist. There's an update planned but it probably won't be coming out for the foreseeable future, sorry.

The issue with death certificate, when running out of time still exists. So don't use it when you have no time or almost no time. The only way to get out when you run out of time in the death certificate floor is to search for a story item like polaroid, the negative, dogma or the key pieces.

She gives me the vibes of the Ghost from Spelunky. Also a few things: Currently she isn't that much of a thread, she is more a slower and anoying tainted esau which turns your items into gulpable trinkets. Take some notes from the Discussion Posts. Like a configurable speed for example. ALSO could you fix the bug with Glitched Crown? When I have glitched crown and Salem comes out any item will continue to emit the silver flame but they won't turn into trinkets because they are swapping all the time and that creates lag, especially if that happens for example in a multichoose Angelroom with 3 items.

Hi there! love this mod! I only had a problem with the death certificate: I ran out of time after I used it and Salem turned all items, softlocking me. Could you fix it please? thank you very much!!

Awesome, simply awesome. Honestly this is the only way to encourage me not to 100% every single little thing on every floor and take too long.
