Regardless, the small company found itself in a bad spot, unprepared to survive the Modding Support Recession of 2023-2024. The last DAC rolled off the assembly line at some point in early 2024, an unassuming Sebring GT in Platinum Pearl with premium wheels, signed by those who built it. The company ceased to exist as an independent entity and was bought out by Omega, reformed, and turned into Cumberland Cars: a new brand which retains the experimentalism and racing heritage of DAC, with a radical neo-retro design language, and sharing much of its development with Omega.
