Popis
AutoHide Hotbar
Do you get bothered when all the extra hotbar slots you have are clipping thought the Vehicle Dashboard when driving? Well, so this mod is for you!
All it does is simply hide the hotbar automatically when you are driving.


How it works:
First, it checks if the player is inside a vehicle, then do another check if the player is the driver.
If all checks are true, it disables the hotbar renderer until any check return false
(Because of that, only hides the hotbar it if the Vehicle Dashboard is being rendered)



Questions:
Is it compatible with Multiplayer?
Yes!
Does it work on existing saves?
Yes! It can be enabled/disabled mid-save without any problems.
Does it work for all game versions?
Only tested and working on current game version: 41.78.16
Is it compatible with X mod?
Probably yes.
It hooks on the ISHotbar:render() function, but was done in a way that should be always compatible with any mod that hooks that function too.

If binding a disappearing hotbar to the right mouse button proves impossible, a possible solution would be to bind the hotbar to a separate UI toggle key, that way you can toggle the hotbar on and off when needed (for shooting)l but I don't make mods so what do I know lol.

I did some digging the last few days and could not find a mod that has done this, but I also did not see anything saying it 'wasn't' possible. I guess we'll see.

This is a great idea and mod!
It be really awesome if you could make a version of this mod that hides the hotbar when aiming a firearm. Noirs attachments and other mods give you so many hotbar-slots that it almost becomes impossible to aim your weapon towards the bottom of your screen.

Well, that a whole other level, and not the real objective of this mod. If you want, I use the Reorder the Hotbar mod, with it you can sort the weapons yourself.

It does not.
It just renders the dashboard above the hotbar, and because in vanilla your hotbar will never get bigger than the dashboard, they don't need to hide it.
