If you're part of a video game company, and you see fans using your properties to make their own games, how do you respond? Do you punish them for violating intellectual property laws? Or do you embrace their creativity?

This is a video essay made for my final semester in college, and the quality is much higher as a result. I was given access to an on-campus recording studio for voiceovers, as well as Adobe Premiere for video editing. It was a lot of fun learning how to make something like this. Just don't expect this level of polish in the future - I don't get to keep my collegiate perks now that I've graduated.

Did I mention that I have a bachelor's degree in English now?

There are definitely some things I could have changed or improved. I talk a lot about AM2R but show no footage of it. I slurred some of my words (the "Seh-Sega" at the beginning, jeez). And I could have talked more about how Nintendo is so protective of their IPs, yet doesn't do anything with a lot of them. What's the point of holding the copyrights of franchises like F-Zero over the public's heads if you're not going to make new games using them?
