Before we get into the main guide, I have to tell somethin', to the newbies.


That right there, is yarn, forget the gem and laser, that floating ball of string is yarn. Yarn can be found in tight places, and is needed to get an A++ on levels. The main use for our earliest yarn, is weapons and tools. Found upstairs in the gift shop looking like this:

This is called the Black Market, where cats 'illegally' give weapons to you for yarn. But wouldn't you think catnip would be funnier? I mean, the cat did say "do you have the goods?", and catnip is basically like DRUGS! for cats! oh sorry about that err. So, when you've bought all of the weapons, you'd be like "What else can I do with yarn? And why am I still attempting to get them in levels?" 1) Trade it 2) Level grades and to trade it, My dear Watson.
Still reading? I hope so! Let's go to the first weapon!

This has me thinking, where did Hatty get all these flying discs for his friends? Weapons mean killing and breaking friendships and friendships of friendships and friends and friends of friends! Anywho this is the first weapon you get when you start the game. It has a bit of a delay of exploding and blows up on contact or hits them and blows up a bit after.

This thing is like your own dirrahea fart in a compact, yucky ball. After being fired, it goes up a bit and keeps going up until it hits the roof. It's perfect for taking out enemies above you, maybe on a cloud or something but it can also be used for close quarters combat. Another little thing is that you can bounce off of it, on top of course and get an extra double jump. Can also be manipulated by fans. And most of the weapons here cannot go through hidden blocks! Take sucidal circus for example from the Xbox 360 version of BBT, he made an excellent demonstration of the acid ball's platforming technique.

I won't have much to say about this thing, all it does is fly and wobbles around until it hits a player or a wall. You'll have to blow it up manually by pressing the A key again.

No seriously, this thing does the exact same thing from the game Castle Crashers. It flies to the enemy and stuns them, and grabs those tricky gems or yarn you want to collect. Also if you miss, there's a chance the boomerang will come back to you! On the down side though the boomerang will dissapear when it hits the enemy or friend, shame.

Better watch out for that cat! Or else he'll stun you and you can't move, tumbling you all the way down to your prickly death.

I have this thing with me just in case I'm lazy and don't want to do this puzzle of platforming, I'll just make my own!

Ta-Da!
It sticks to walls! Not like hidden walls or some props. Also it can be used to hit enemies! The platform fires from a cannon, so fast and heavy it'll knock 'em right off their feet! Do bear in mind that the platform won't hold stay forever, it'll fall after a short time.

Like your average dodgeball, it hurts, and stuns cats and friends for some reason...

But cats can throw them up, eww. So you've gotta watch out or else I would've gone tumbling straight into that water! And please excuse my friend, he gets camera shy and starts puking up dodgeballs. That's not it! If you have played that soccer game you may notice the dodgeball might have some of the same characteristics of the soccer ball, it just hits you in the head and blows up from time to time.

This thing just pushes away your projectile weapons, like discs, grenades, but not fire balls! Also can push away players, and cats.

Please excuse Catty here as he has eaten to many spicy meatballs on spicy sauce that has spicy jalepenos that has spicy spices, or you could say his hairball is on fire. Fireballs set you on fire and suffocate you until you're dead. The only way to extinguish yourself, it to go into water, which will make you go fire up like the lava rocks.

Did you know?
When you're on fire, you can hit another cat or a player and set them on fire, same thing is applied to cats.

So this thing sends you flying! And it goes fast so thats good right? Also you shoot the forceball like a hadouken!
Sometimes you can get mistaken with the dodgeball turning out to be a forceball! Happened to me too many times. Plus, the forceball gives off a cool explosion! Watch as Catty and I watch the fireworks.

This weapon is a deadly joker! He acts like a duck shark sticking to walls and everything, only this time he goes around and explodes near a player or a cat, and when it gets out of range.

In the mouth, frogs have very large throats eh?

This weapon is my favorite, I use it all the time! Use it for muckle, capture the pig horse, and use it against cats!



Catty Watch out! poor guy, anyway this thing explodes on either fuse or contact. The grenade can be deflected (Which I find this very annoying when playing against my brother) and manipulated by fans or vaccuums. Whew what a mouthful with these weapons! These are the last 2 weapons stay with me!

It's a chunk of ice! So? So it comes out of a cannon! So? So it freezes you! SO!? SO IT MAKES YOU FALL TO YOUR DOOM
No seriously you do not want to let this thing touch you in mid-air, as always it affects other players, I'm not sure if you can manipulate with fans or vaccuums. The ice that is launched from the cannon hits you and in a short period of time you have to thaw out, while frozen you can move around and make slippy noises. Annoying right?

Finally, the last weapon! The vaccuum is the opposite of the fan, it pulls cats and players toward you but what's this? It sucks in projectiles where they become no more! Now that's something worth to try out!

So you learned the ups and downs of all these weapons didn't you? Well good for you wasting maybe 5-10 minutes reading this guide as you already have known all the weapons. Still though thank you for coming to read my guide, it was my first BattleBlock Theater guide and I was happy to make it! Also about the toast, riiiggghhht, toast... it's the same as cats, only they move around too much.
