Might be a good addition to the custom mage explanation.
Fights reroll loot, including pages & rare loot from battle site (I farmed 4 traveler's cloaks this way in order not to switch them constantly between my heroes).
I.e. say you got death page. Reload your save file before fighting shapers' guards. Fight somebody else (you can use your other armies for that), [then optionally fight somebody else again, again and again], then fight shapers' guards. And this time you'll usually get a different page.
You don't want to waste a glyph slot for follower though plus crafting that many need a lot of resources. Interestingly, with follower spell and exp spell, you can create unlimited army of elf with mana traits. A mana production army! Lolololol.
