'P.R.O. - The Vision'

Set of mods I've created that will overhaul the vanilla game experience to be more hardcore but on the other hand leaves you the option to make it through and survive. I want to create a world where you have to calculate your every step and plan ahead, where you need to move tactically and can't just run around like a headless chicken. I want to give you the option to craft basic stuff, but to really survive and live a life better then a caveman, you need to have a vision for your character - a clear path you need to take. I want the stuff initially spawned on the world to be the only stuff and from there it is up to you to evolve around it, making more complex things disappear as the time goes by, making you to adapt and re-organize your lifestyle and tactics. It makes items have more value and makes the world more alive - possibly creating a mini-economy type of situation when threaded carefully.

I will be adding/updating mods until everything is overhauled.


What makes my mods apart :
  • Crafting and some other actions take more time. You have to brew and cook some of the items and can't just do them on your knee
  • Crafting recipes are not overly complex for the sake of it but rather a balance between realism and game items and their distribution logic.
  • Nothing gets wasted, you always get proper items back from recipes, brews and such. Even destroying things will give you at least something in return.
  • More complex crafting is always located behind skills - forcing players to interact with other people to get trade goods.
  • I've intentionally left out some of the more complex recipes such as crafting certain car and electronic parts that are usually made in factories.


My preferred settings for this mod list :
Download the following SETTINGS [drive.google.com] file and drop it into "C:\Users\%username%\Zomboid\Sandbox Presets" . Then, while in-game, you will find these settings under 'Sandbox Presets' or when hosting a server - from under 'Presets' .

NOTE: With 'Hard Forage' mod, if using the 'Harder' version along with XP Tweaker and my mod settings then change Foraging 1.0 multiplier to 10.0 .

NOTE: When using my 'Hard Fishing' mod along with low nature abundance setting then I suggest using the easier version of it.
