More XP! Decrypt drives Mechanic.

解説
RELEASE.

First of all, it's not intended to be realistic in terms of time (USB Drive.) Tho there's a Diskettete and Laptop from the '90s

There is a DISKETTE-only version. Use the second MODID But I recommend using the base. mod id The second is kinda outdated for now.

Decrypting the drives will randomly give you exp in almost all perks. Very very randomly.

The idea of the MOD is; you can find some confidential information in each drive that makes you get better in all the fields. (Like find a tutorial for farming, some information about spies that makes you better at sneaking ...)

The level earned can be set in the sandbox. The default max is 250. But Again all is very random.

You can find 10 USBs but only 5 of them could work. After that, you have to try your luck looking for information inside of them and the chance of earning Exp can be from X to Y (set in the sandbox)

How does it work?

First, Kill a lot of zombies! To collect a good amount of diskettes and USB

The USB has an extra mechanic. You will need to open it and there's a 50% probability to get a working USB or a damaged USB

Of course a laptop will be needed too . Those are really really hard to find. Recommend places to find'em:

Schools, Survivor bags, Living rooms.

Once you get a Laptop, open it. Place it anywhere you want and get close enough to TRY to decrypt drives.


Note:

- USB Drives only work on Asus Zephyrus Laptop
- Diskettes only work on 90's Laptops versions.


But wait! is not that easy.
[Decrypt and Check] have a high chance to corrupt your USBs and diskettes, but also If you succeed there's a chance to don't consume the drive and keep trying!

Just wanted to say, first time I used this mod and it's so simple of an idea but a really neat addition to my set up. It's nice finding these super rare usbs and getting something out of them.

if you add anymore laptops i'd suggest a rarer middleman laptop that accepts both floppy and usb

almost all perks..

weapon skill only Axe.

Doesn't exist earning fishing, foraging, trap, strength skills.

Sorry for being stupid, but the description is quite unclear. I understand that you can decrypt usb or floppy, but what exactly do you gain from decrypting? Mechanic skill exp or other stills? It's not written in description, only mod name has word "mechanic". But not sure how would one get better with cars by decrypting usb, that's why confusion.

Sorry. My bad. The mod is fully working just I did not immediately understand how to use floppy disks and usb drives.

You need to take the laptop, open the laptop, put it on the table for example, right-click on it and you will be able to read the disk.

I tried to just do everything from the main inventory of the character, but it is not right.
I'm really sorry. Even the video shows that you right-click on the laptop and the option to use a floppy disk appears.

@MoonSpirit76 I have been testing the mod with more than 100+ mods and works fine. (1 week ago) Let me check it again. But I'm pretty sure that the mod should not have any conflict with another mod.
