Introduction
Are you new to VHS? Are you looking for helpful advice on how to play? You're in luck! Contrary to popular belief there's only one correct way to play this game, and that's by playing teen all-star Brett.

See this guy right here?

That's action hero Angus MacGyver, Brett's dad. Brett and his dad have two things in common: the ability to kick ass and a rocking head of hair.

Before we start, let's delve into the science behind the mullet. Allow me to introduce the Follicle Theorem:
The Follicle Theorem
0.25x=y where x is the number of based Brett playing teens in your lobby and y is the percent chance of victory expressed as a decimal.

It is critical that you commit this formula to memory. How will this be beneficial to you? Let's walk through an example:

You enter a lobby with one Leo player (cringe), three Brett players, and one monster poser. Applying the Follicle Theorem, we see that x=3, and therefore y=0.25(3)=0.75. As such, in this lobby you would have a 75% chance of winning, and you would not need to dodge.

What is the conclusion to be made here? It's simple, you and your friends should play Brett as much as possible to maximize your chances of victory.
Banging with the Bois
There are many weapons in VHS. Many people believe that to win you must use weapons such as the slingshot, the curse sword, the ray gun, or the flamethrower to banish the monster and win.

They are all wrong, and stupid.

Ask yourself this: how the hell is a slingshot suppose to hurt an 8-foot tall muscle bound manwolf? It can't. You know what puts down dogs? Smith and Wesson steel. Bullets. Introducing the finger guns emote.

Looking good Brett.

Much like the heavy in TF2, you point this masterpiece of an emote at any monster and they'll fly 10 feet across the room straight into a wall and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ die.

You're probably thinking to yourself. "Brother Brett, that sounds OP!" You're damned right it is, so how do we go about equipping it?

1. Navigate to the title screen.
2. Click on loadout at the top left.
3. Click style.
4. Click emotes.
5. Click on the finger guns emote.
6. Click equip, and put it in your top slot.
7. Unslot all other emotes, they are a distraction and will not help you.

And presto! You're ready to brutalize some monsters.
Conclusion
Congratulations, you're ready to play VHS like a sweaty 35 year old man-child who only steps outside to pick up Amazon packages and Domino's pizza! By following these steps exactly, you'll bring many a monster to heel while simultaneously growing the Brett Legion, use this power wisely.

wouldn't the mathematical formula have to include the possibility if a brett is a monster?
Wouldn't it be more akin to something like
y=0.25*(X-(1*B)), with M being monster, and B being Brett. So if there is a Brett who is a monster, B=1, otherwise B=0.
