The Scian Dearg is a submarine made possible by black budget funding and a stunning lack of concern for crew survivability. Lacking the features and comforts of even the most spartan military submarines it is built to do two things; Go fast, and fire 30 railgun rounds in 3 seconds. To facilitate this the Scian Dearg features a custom rapid-fire rail gun, overtuned large engine, six railgun loaders, five supercapacitors, and batteries overvolted to within an inch of exploding. The sub notoriously does not have an air lock and the hatch can only be safely opened at a habitat. A crowbar is provided should the crew need to abandon the submarine for any reason. Notes: This sub is not suitable for cargo, personnel transport, beacon repair, mining, exploration, or research. AI have some trouble navigating the submarine.
