Sadly is not true, is pretty fascist.
He never helped the people of Dombass and now invade ukraine in base of "defend the people of Donbass" but those people only asks the war stop, not the war get expanded.
Now Russia wants to annex the People's Republics...
He is more like a Russian Emperor, taking control of their bordering nations... :(
