Too often I get lost in the sea of comparison with my art. There are so many talented and wonderful people here in the Fandom and beyond, some of whom I am beyond thankful to call my friends. I absolutely adore their work, yet find myself unknowingly putting my own down in spite of it.

I painted this piece as a reminder to myself that I am still on a journey. Looking behind me I see my impressions left upon the world with art I've finished and enjoy. Ahead of me are many, many new experiences and opportunities of understanding. Most importantly though, I did this to remind myself that there is no rush at all. It's okay to relax and enjoy the ever-changing view as I continue walking.

I will get there someday, so long as I keep moving.
