In this guide i will show you how to fight bots. Mainly the snipers bots on 2fort.

This bots have a script who make them headshot you as soon as they see you. But it's a quick headshot who do 150 dmg.

So basically you'll have to use a class above 150 hp. So no scout, spy etc...

Then when this step is done you'll have to use a class who can kill the sniper bots in less than 3 or 4 secs or who can take an other headshot (hi heavy fist of steel).
So in term of choice we will have Soldier and Demoman.
The pyro isn't great because you will not kill him fast enough or barely so you might get headshoted again.

The ingeneer can be a choice who seems smart but it's not because bots will detect the sentry and go for the perfect pixel to hit the sentry. So if you want to save your sentry with some rescue ranger the bots will eventually destroy your sentry and if you go for the wrench they will kill you.

As a demo, try to make some sticky traps with 4 stickies (no need to waste amo here). is enough to kill a heavy at full health basically. You can also go for double donk with the loose canon and oneshot the bot.

For the soldier, you will basically take one headshot but during the 3 or 4 sec you'll have the time to shoot two rockets to kill the bot. it's the safest way to kill bots from what i have experimented until now.
Also don't hesitate to use conch or other banner to buff your defense and avoid crits damage or to buff your damages.
If you are confident on your aim you can also go for direct hit but it wil be a win or miss with this weapon.


I hope this guide will help players to be able to deal with bots and to learn some strategy to counter them. Remind, it's just an IA if you know her pathfinding you can use it at your advantage and destroy it.
