Argon's Basic Components

A quick mod I thought was a good idea to implement. While this mod does not have any dependencies, it goes well with Expanded Materials - Metals, as you will be able to make these components at an even lower cost and use them to craft early or mid game stuff. It is highly recommended to play with medieval mods, in particular, the one from Vanilla Expanded, as all of my mods are pretty much meant to complement those.



This mod just adds one new item, the basic component. It also changes the drop of compacted machinery to be basic components, but don't worry, you'll get more components and once you research the required technology, you will be able to transform basic components into industrial components.





No bugs have been reported during testing and I myself haven't found any. This doesn't mean it is bug-free, but it's likely to as it is not a very complex addition.
What I must say, though, is that this mod includes a patch that modifies all below-industrial recipes that use components and replaces the cost with basic components, and despite this having been coded in a way so that it reduces the possibility of incompatibilities, anything could happen with rimworld. So if you find a bug please report it on the discussion please, NOT IN THE COMMENTS, as these get lost with time and I'll probably forget about what I have to fix.

Q: Save game compatible?
A: Only a small addition, it should. The recipe changing patch has a very low probability of changing something that may cause an unexpected, yet small bug. So back up your save just in case! It's good practice.
