There are two steps that ought to be done in order to utilize EVERYTHING your profile options can provide. You can do these steps in either order but both are recommended to be completed first.

Long story short, buying the entirety (in any order desired) costs 162,000 Points in all, meaning you’ll have to purchase about $1620.00 in games and DLC; be it for yourself or for your friends, just splurge. 💸

All those Profile Showcase options are useless if your Profile’s under Level 10. As every Steam user should know, the only way to Level Up one’s profile is collecting profile badges, as each are worth XP; 100 per crafted badge from games and Steam Events, both via Trading Cards, and special badges earned by other methods. 💵>📛>📈

There’s 20 profile showcases available by default (21 if you participated in the 2018 “Intergalactic Summer Sale” event with the Saliens) and 18 bought from the Points Shop. Every 10 Levels added to your profile unlocks a showcase option. Therefore, to access all showcases, your profile must be at Level 380 (390 if you participated in the 2018 “Intergalactic Summer Sale” event with the Saliens) which requires a lifetime total of 741,000 XP (780,000 XP if you…well, y’know).

Sure, the methods of getting XP Badges are various, especially with specific prices for all Trading Cards but one I’d recommend is saving up for summer and/or winter sale events, specifically for the common Trading Cards/Badges because they’re cheaper (duh).

For example, I currently own the highest-leveled Foil Badge in all of Steam as a futile attempt to personalize it to my liking (like St4sh could with his common Badge from the 2017 Summer Sale), which is Level 3000, worth 300,000 XP. The highest-leveled Badge I own is from the 2018 Steam Awards sale, being Level 5,000 worth 500,000 XP, which was actually because I wanted to grind the excess profile and emoticon items into Gems.

So, for the option of Leveling up a single Profile Badge if your profile is under Level 10, do so for a common summer or winter event badge, leveled up to about 7410, worth 741,000 XP.

During such events, it’s best to wait until the Trading Cards’ prices are at $0.05 and there’s usually 10 cards in all, ergo leveling up the badge is worth $0.50. So, you’ll have to spend $3705 to craft a Level 7410 Badge.

…Again, this is just one of many options but all options will be monetarily required for Trading Cards, though this one might be the cheapest method ($1620 + $3705 = $5,325). 💰

Don’t let all that money go to waste by NOT using every single one of your Showcases (eventually).
