[Legacy] Duster

Duster joined your party!
He may have a limp and smelly breath, but don't underestimate him!

Duster is a fast character from MOTHER 3 who brings powerful kicks, and plenty of trinkets to battle. His moveset is half physical and half using his thief tools as weapons.



NSPECIAL - Bomb throw.
Duster throws a bomb. This bomb differs depending on which item you have selected with DSPECIAL. It can throw Duster's Smoke bomb, a Running bomb, a Thunder bomb, or the notorious New Year's Eve bomb.

Smoke bombs trap opponents in a smokey hitbox, and lasts for a while. Running bombs explode in the direction Duster throws them. Thunder bombs rest on the floor for a bit before they expode. New Year's Eve bombs have a 1/10 chance of exploding, but when it does, it's a powerful explosion. All bombs have cooldowns, and while one is on cooldown, all of the others are too.

FSPECIAL - Wall staples.
Duster throws two of his wall staples in a line. The second staple stuns if BOTH staples connect with enemies. If a Thunder Bomb or a New Year's Eve bomb are sitting idle, and Wall staples are thrown, the bombs will move the direction the staples are thrown. If there is another Duster in the game, they will be able to move your bombs with their Wall staples too.

USPECIAL - Bird cage.
Duster grabs onto a cage filled with birds, that carries him upwards. He has control of what direction the birds carry him, but the cage breaks after some usage.

DSPECIAL - Menu.
Used to select which bomb NSPECIAL throws.

All of Duster's physical attacks play one of his battle instruments from Mother 3, randomized. You can press the SPECIAL button at the beginning of the match to turn this off.
Duster has all 15 abyss runes, but I might change them to be funnier later on.
