As a former tank company commander and friend to some A-10 pilots, I approve this mod. Fun facts: They first designed the gun, then designed a plane that could carry it. The recoil from the gun equals the forward thrust from one of its two engines. The Marine version didn't have any thermal vision for many years, so the pilots like to save one missile so they can use its camera to do nighttime carrier landings.
