The Definitive Defence Guide

This is one of the best ways to gain RP in competitive as you will outlive most of the match.
This guide will show you an easy way to defend.
When playing trios the third person should play: Crypto or Caustic.

Drop At The Centre Building
Drop to the centre building on Kings Canyon.



- Rampart lands on the bridge.
- Wattson lands in the building (Due to the high likelihood of ultimate accelerates).
Loot
Pick up items of use.
Pick up weapons such as LMGs (or anything your'e comfortable using).
Rampart - Ping ultimate accelerants.

Open Explosive hold
Use a looted grenade to open the explosive hold for your team.
Build Denseness
Wattson builds fences first
  • 1 on each side of doors

  • 2 in middle

    Rampart then builds a wall in front of each door

    Then 2 walls in the middle

    If possible, place Rampart's ultimate behind the middle walls
Optimal Setup
RAT
Stay and defend the area
If Not in Circle move to another suitable location
Look on the map an find a small to medium size building to go to.

Move to the new location as soon as possible.
- if people are in the area stay in the defensive position.
Rinse, Repeat
Set up base in that location and defend.


- If out of the circle, find a new place.
Win
If your defended area is in the final ring - don't move from it, only shoot out of it.

If not - wait for the last people to start fighting
Go to a good vantage point and setup some Rampart walls and a turret.
When they are weak - attack.
If your end score looks like this, you have succesfully completed this guide.

Nice, you're basically encouraging people to get good at camping so they can get to a higher skill bracket full of players that will shred them because they haven't gotten better at real gunfights. Cool.
