How do I start the game?
Select "SINGLE PLAYER", then "NEW GAME". Go through the training rooms, then select one of the three paths. I recommend the left (easy) one. Don't go to bonus levels.

Graphics is not the same as on screenshots and videos.
Go to options, set "LIGHTNING" to FULL. Beware! It can significantly decrease FPS and make the level more darker.

Mesh fence and some other textures are not transparent.
Go to OPTIONS > CHANGE VIDEO MODE and set Texture Quality to 0.

The grenade falls at my feet when I throw it!
Throwing power depends on how long you hold the grenade. You can see throwing power on the percent indicator in the middle of the screen.

Something kills me when I stand in the water on level 2!
It is a power generator room. You need to jump on boxes to reach the switch.

Something kills me on the train!
You need to jump off the train when it stops.

Level 2 is too hard!
Yep, a little bit You can help yourself a little bit by throwing grenades or killing enemies from a platform. Also remember that knife is a really powerful weapon.

The game is too hard!
Please remember you can always save and load your game, even during combat from the SINGLE PLAYER menu. Also I recommend trying to use QuickSave (F6 key) and QuickLoad (F9 key) features. You may also switch your difficulty to the easiest one from console by typing "skill 0; restart".

How do I open the console?
Press the ` key on your keyboard. Make sure your keyboard layout is in English language. If it doesn't work, you may open the console from the options menu (OPTIONS => GO TO CONSOLE).

Are there some cheat codes?
Yes, they all need to be typed in the console, but first you need to enable cheats by passing "sv_cheats 1; restart" command.

• " bind b "impulse 9" " - Gives you all weapons and items every time you hit "B" key.
  
• "Notarget" - enemies can't see you.
  
• "God" - godmode.
  
• "Noclip" - fly around the map without collision with objects and walls.

My friend can't see my server.
It looks like you need to forward 26000 port or use something like Hamachi. I recommend use one of the public servers to play.

What does the N stand for?
During the Cold War, the USSR created the "N" association. A certain object "N" was located on the territory of Belarus. I learned this from the documents in the nuclear bomb shelter № L-21 in Minsk. More information could not be obtained. Presumably this is a network of bunkers and missile defense. All I got is the approximate object coordinates.
