Campaign Mission: "Frontiers"

I just got out of VR and boy is my neck tired!

Of course, I had to try the VR mode out, and it works! Although you have to recenter your seat with "V" or "C" or "R3". They don't tell you that in game, but I found the information in the Steam forums (the devs will fix that in a future patch). And don't mind the video, the spectator view is a little higher up than the ingame view. I'll need to remember to look a little lower when I'm playing.

Other than that, I feel like game runs great for me. It's not perfect, as there are some slowdown issues, but I could probably chalk that up to my hardware since it's on the lower end and starting to show it's age. Most PCVR users will probably have better newer expensive hardware than me. Seriously, you can see people with the latest hardware and headsets playing the game in buttery smooth framerates, while I'm sitting here with my outdated GPU/CPU and HTC Vive, haha!

Still, it is really satisfying to play an Ace Combat like game in VR. Taking out bogeys with the gun, then moving your head around to track another target while moving your aircraft into position feels amazing in VR (but maybe not so if you have motion sickness).

Oh man, if only Ace Combat 7 for the PC had some sort of VR mode, I wonder what that would be like...
