Introduction
This guide will cover how to unlock every achievement in UNICLR. This is honestly one of the more easier fighting games to get into so you'll most likely pick up on the game mechanics pretty quickly. This game will take anywhere from 20-35 hours depending on your skill level and how hard you grind for the customizing achievements.

Controls
For starters though, you should become familiar with the controls. Below I will provide a table explaining what each button command is by default.

Specific Actions
As with most fighting games, you have to input special moves via the use of quarter circle and other similar inputs. Here's a table of specific UNICLR actions that may be useful to you as you play.

Action
Input
Description
Dash
Different for every character. Some run, some side step.
Assault
Character jumps forward and is able to attack
Throw
+
Throws the opponent if within reach. Can be escaped by inputting throw command.
EXS Concentration
Hold
Fills up GRD meter while slowly consuming your EXS gauge.
Chain Shift
+
Only in Vorpal. Pauses the action. Cancels attacks lets you input new ones.
Blue Shield
Hold
Increases recovery time of moves that hit it.
Green Shield
Tap
Grants user GRD when successfully used during attack.
Veil Off
+ +
Knockbacks opponents. Character will be powered up for short time.
Infinite Worth
+
Super move. Can only be done when EXS is 200% or during Veil Off.

Chronicle Mode Achievements
Chronicle Mode is essentially the visual novel prequel to the events that occur in Arcade Mode. As with most visual novels, you can simply speed through the dialogue. You can do this by either pressing start and selecting "Skip Message" or by pressing R1/RB.

Start of the Chronicles

Viewed the complete Prologue in Chronicle Mode.

Still the Beginning

Unlocked 5 scenes in Chronicle Mode.

Here's Where It Gets Interesting

Unlocked 10 scenes in Chronicle Mode.

A Little More to Go

Unlocked 15 scenes in Chronicle Mode.

Welcome to the Hollow Night

Viewed Hilda's complete scene in Chronicle Mode.

End of the Chronicles

Viewed all scenes in Chronicle Mode.
Tutorial Mode Achievements
The tutorial mode in this game is an excellent way of learning the game mechanics. Going for the tutorial mode achievements shouldn't be too difficult due to the fact that...well...it's a tutorial.

The tutorial mode is separated into five chapters, but you only need to complete the first three (Novice, Beginner, and Intermediate) in order to unlock all the achievements.

A New Character Appears in the Hollow Night

Cleared the first chapter in Tutorial Mode.

In-Birth Newbie

Cleared 20 objectives in Tutorial Mode.

The Strength of One

Cleared 50 objectives in Tutorial Mode.

Battle Scars

Cleared 80 objectives in Tutorial Mode.

Got This

Cleared 100 objectives in Tutorial Mode.
Arcade Mode Achievements
Arcade Mode has you defeat 10 enemies in a row. If you lose a match you can simply resume from the stage you lost at. While you go for these achievements, you can also attempt to knock out some of the Misc. achievements. Scroll down below for more info.

A Job Well Done

Cleared Arcade Mode with any character.

Veteran of War

Cleared Arcade Mode with a Difficulty Setting of "5", Rounds at "3" or more, and without continuing, with any character.

In order to change the difficulty and round settings, you have to enter the Game Settings through the Options menu. I found that the easiest characters to get this with were Hyde or Akatsuki as both are very beginner-friendly. Ultimately this comes down to how familiar you are with the game mechanics.
Mission Mode Achievements
Mission Mode has you complete specific combos for specific characters. The farther you go the harder the combos become to input. This mode will really test your combo execution abilities and your understanding of game mechanics.

To obtain all of the achievements you simply have to complete all the beginner and intermediate missions for five unique characters. The easiest I found to be were Hyde, Linne, Akatsuki, Enkidu, and Merkava, but you may have an easier time with others. It all depends on your playstyle and your experience with characters. Most of these combos aren't very hard at all to execute.

Tip: If you see "j." in a combo, it means you have to do the move/attack in the air/while jumping.

Small Combo

Cleared all Beginner-level combo challenges in Mission Mode for 3 characters.

Medium Combo

Cleared all Intermediate-level combo challenges in Mission Mode for 3 characters.

Large Combo

Cleared all Intermediate-level combo challenges in Mission Mode for 5 characters.
Other Mode Achievements
This section will cover all the separate achievements that are directly linked to a specific mode outside of the ones already covered. While you go for these achievements, you can also attempt to knock out some of the Misc. achievements. Scroll down below for more info.

Reigning Champion

Won 5 consecutive matches in Versus Mode.

Self-explanatory. If you're having trouble try turning down the CPU difficulty from the game settings.

Overachiever

Achieved a total score of 1,000,000,000 or more in Score Attack Mode.

Simply play Score Attack until your overall score hits a billion. Depending on your skill level, this shouldn't take longer than around 5-7 runs.

Speedrunner

Cleared Time Attack Mode in under 12 minutes with 3 different characters.

Self-explanatory. This one can be a bit difficult if you aren't too familiar with the game mechanics. Playing beginner-friendly characters is definitely the way to go. Hyde, Akatsuki, Merkava, Linne, and Enkidu are all good choices.

Countless Dead Bodies...

Fought over 50 matches in Survival Mode. (Losses included.)

Self-explanatory. This one shouldn't take too long either.
Misc. Achievements
These achievements can be done in any modes besides Training, Tutorial, and Mission mode. It's a good idea to knock some out while running through the other modes, but not required. Versus mode with low difficulty CPUs or another controller is heavily recommended. I have ordered them from easiest to hardest.

Era of the Bad ♥♥♥♥♥ / You Princes of Maiming, You Kings of No End

Fought 10 battles using female characters.

Fought 10 battles using male characters.

Self-explanatory. You'll most likely get these during your overall achievement journey, but if you somehow don't, just load up a couple versus games with whatever gendered characters you're missing.

What a SMART MOVE

Used Smart Steer.

Press continuously until your character completes their Smart Steer (auto combo) move.

Forgot to Chain Shift

Defeated an opponent while still in Vorpal state.

Entering a Vorpal state requires you to have attained more GRD than your opponent after a set amount of time. When Vorpal is achieved you'll notice a blue aura surrounding your character and your GRD gauge. In order to obtain this achievement you merely have to defeat your opponent WITHOUT chain shifting (pressing twice).

It's Just A Matter of Time Now

Landed a Veil Off attack on a Vorpal-state opponent.

When your opponent enters Vorpal (they'll have a blue aura), simply move up to them and press + + to activate Veil Off. The resulting blast should take them out of Vorpal and grant you the achievement.

CLANK

Caused a GRD Break.

Although this achievement says to cause a GRD Break, you can also obtain it by having one happen to you. The easiest method is to hold back and to bring up your blue shield. Eventually the CPU will break your shield and the achievement should pop.

Broke Free

Successfully escaped from a throw.

In order to escape from throws you have to press + immediately after you get grabbed. If timed correctly, you'll escape the throw.

My Life Just Flashed Before My Eyes

Won the round with less than 30% health remaining.

Pretty self-explanatory. Let yourself get to below 30% health and win the round.

Extremely Guarded

Performed Guard Thrust while in Vorpal state.

Enter Vorpal state by having more GRD than your opponent after the timer refreshes. Once in Vorpal, block your opponent's attacks and in between that input + . If timed properly, your character should cause a guard thrust and counter attack your opponent.

120% Gauge Recovery

Performed Chain Shift while possessing 6 or more GRDs.

Obtain 6 blocks of GRD in a match and then press twice to activate a Chain Shift.

FINAL CLAUSE

Caused a FINAL CLAUSE.

Both you and your opponent need to have 1 round win. On the third round, both you and your opponent will need to either not take any damage or both die at the same time. This will result in a final clause.

Cross-Cast Veil Off / Infinitely Worthy

Used Cross-Cast Veil Off.

Pressed A+B+C during Cross-Cast Veil Off to execute Infinite Worth.

When you have at least half of your EXS gauge filled, press + + while in the middle of a combo to enter Cross-Cast Veil Off and get the first achievement. This is different from the default Veil Off which is achieved by performing the same input, but without a prior combo.

If you input the same button combination while in Cross-Cast Veil Off you will use your Infinite Worth move which will give you the Infinitely Worthy achievement.

Ultimate, Unlimited, Super-Devastating Finisher

Finished an opponent using Infinite Worth EXS.

To use Infinite Worth EXS, you must first be in Veil Off mode ( + + ) while also having less than 30% health. Once these conditions are met, you must input + + + .

You can also simply input + + + if you have a 200% EXS gauge and less than 30% health. This method does not require Veil Off.

On lower difficulties the CPUs will stand around defenseless, making this achievement fairly easy. Using a second controller and keeping the other player still will also make this achievement incredibly easy.

Invincible

Perfected 5 rounds.

Win 5 rounds without taking any damage. Once again this is really easy on lower difficulties or if you control your opponent with another controller.

Devastating Blow

Dished out over 5,000 damage in one combo chain.

While this may initially seem like a daunting task, you can simply use Hyde's Infinite Worth three times in a row. This video below will show you how to get it done.

Customize Mode Achievements
These achievements will likely be the last ones you need as they require you to purchase almost everything from the shop. Earning IP (the game's currency) is incredibly grindy. The most efficient method to earning IP is by playing a match in Versus against a CPU or your second controller which nets you 500. Alternatively, winning a match in ranked Network mode nets you 1000. The game's matchmaking is pretty much dead (outside of the Discord server), so it would actually be viable to boost for IP if you have a friend.

NOTE: You can save time by closing the game with Alt + F4 immediately after buying a certain section of items. This way you'll save all your IP and still obtain the achievement. 200,000 is the minimum amount you should aim for.

I've compiled a table for determining how much each category would cost:

Category
Total IP
30 Colors
40,000
Plates
65,000
Menu Characters
105,000
Icons
154,000
Titles
178,300
Overall
542,300

Dream in All Colors

Unlocked all 30 colors for any character.

Every character starts off with 10 colors. You will have to unlock the 20 other colors of any given character for a total of 40,000 IP.

Take a Look at My Sweet Plate Collection / Plate Completion

Purchased all Plates in [Character Plate 1].

Purchased all Plates.

You will need to purchase every plate in [Character Plate 1] for a total of 22,000 IP to unlock the first achievement.

Then the rest of the plates will be needed to be purchased for 43,000 IP in order to unlock the second achievement. If buying all it once, the total is 65,000 IP.

Everything on the Menu

Purchased all Menu Characters.

You will need to purchase every menu character for a total of 105,000 IP.

Title Completion

Purchased all Titles.

You will need to purchase every title for a total of 149,550 IP.

Truly Iconic

Purchased all Icons.

You will need to purchase every icon for a total of 154,000 IP.

Money's Gotta Go Somewhere

Spent over 200,000 IP in total.

Self-explanatory. You will definitely get this before you finish all the shop achievements so don't worry about it. (You may need to spend an extra 21,700 IP if you did the Alt+F4 method using only 178,300 IP.)
Conclusion
Once you obtain all the achievements, you will also receive the Rebirth of a Champion achievement.

I hope this guide has helped you and if you have any questions or feedback, feel free to drop them below.

Not to my knowledge. The last person to unlock it according to SteamHunters was September 4th.

Seems like it had the wrong instructions. That's my fault. It's been updated.

Seems like you got it though so congrats on the completion!

For some reason I have never been able to get the Final Clause achievement, is there a bug associated with it?

Thanks for the heads up! Just added it.

Already noted in the Customize Mode section. I'll make it more obvious though. Thanks!

One thing to avoid spending money is to close the game without saving after you get the achievement. To be honest, I didn't even tried that at first, it just that the game crashed after i bought all the icons.

no prob! thanks for the guide :) im super close to 100%.. just needing to grind for IP lol
