Growing Conflict

Leírás
Growing Conflict is a multiplayer mod that adds six new nations with immersive voice lines, but emphasises balanced vanilla gameplay. This mod is intended to build on the vanilla game. Currently, the AI for the newly added nations does not work. Nearly all content comes from the ''Parabellum'' mod, all credit goes to them. The new nations are: Italy, France, China, Finland, ANZAC, and Hungary. Also, the Ostfront Veteranen faction is fully working. Localization is just the text you see and read while in the game. Such as unit names and descriptions. It is done just as in most mods just in a more organised variant. As most just have everything chucked into one big messy file, we've sorted into multiple files which are included into a master file.

@Kurdish Tigers The mod was originally made to make the then new Ostfront Veteranen faction compatible with the Parabellum mod, but as we played the mod more and more we made balance changes where we thought them appropriate. We haven't played in a long time but we used to play it quite a bit in 3v3 and 4v4 and we have tried to balance the mod based off of our experience in these game modes. On top of that we fixed localization issues that were present in the original mod, development has however stopped for the mod since we don't play anymore.

Just to add to that, you can play a work in progress version of the mod here: https://steamoss.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2295675818 that contains an almost complete Dutch faction and some other changes. Despite being beta it's still very much playable.

Not at the moment no, our group stopped playing men of war. If we return to the game at some point we will problably pick up development again but don't know when/if that will happen.

@FreedomProvider We weren't planning on doing that. The aim of the mod isn't realism and thus we feel like it isn't necessary.
