* Stasis damage type now inflict vanilla hypothermia instead of it old effect.
* All guns use now new unfinished type item during decoding. (UnfinishedGun to UnfinishedEngram)
* Added custom sounds for most of our weapons.

Exotic Arsenal is a simple weapons mod, aiming to add some end-game, ultra-tech weapons to the game.
All of those can be obtained from quests, found on enemies and crafted with a new material called Exotic Engram bought from exotic goods traders.

Currently the mod adds thirteen new weapons:

An Ultra-Tech charged-blaster, unlike classic pulse-charge technology that charges each shot with unstable energy, this weapon release a big powerful blast of pure charged energy. Fires a single shot at rather short range, and has a rather long recharge time; but makes up for it more than enough just by the merit of it lethality. Developed by Glitterworld Military Forces, in situations that require extreme firepower


Pinnacle of humanity's engineering when it comes to sniper rifles. Equipped with micro-onboard computer that gives this weapon a semi-intelligence that allows it to fire with inhuman accuracy.Complex ultra-tech firing mechanics built in; allow a fire rate beyond anything that any other known sniper rifle can offer.


A high-tech assault rifle, fires bullets made out of superdense plasma to melt foes down. Light with medium accuracy. Rarely used by any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Glitterworld millitary due to its tendency to burn things down.


An Ultra-Tech crossrifle. Fires belts, injected with highly potent neurotoxin that greatly reduces target's blood pumping, sight, and limb manipulation capability. Much more accurate than a traditional crossbow, and capable of firing faster as well, thanks to its aiming system and the lack of need to string it


An Ultra-Tech pulse rifle. Fires a long spear shaped energy projectile made out of hard light, capable of easily piercing most forms of conventional armor. Great at medium and long range. Hard Light is a compressed form of light, that behaves like any other conventional bullet with the difference that it burns instead of dealing kinetic damage.


An Ultra-Tech Shotgun. Utilizes explosive bullets. Deals extremely heavy damage to target and everyone close to it. Possesses a rather low accuracy and range, but at the same time has enough firepower to kill multiple people in one or two shots if fired correctly



An Ultra-tech Fusion rifle, can inflict massive damage to single targets. Possesses a rather short-range, but comes with double energy conservation cores which allow this weapon to switch freely between a Plasma and Stasis energy projectile


A compact ultra-tech handgun, precise in short-range and with built-in quickdraw mechanics allowing for quick response to any hostilites due to it very low aiming time. Comes with a blade attachment, and two variants; one that charge the blade with plasma and second with stasis.


An ultra-tech cyro-laser assault rifle. Utilizes mechanics of cyro-negative energy conservation to generate and fire freezing laser beams. The Cyro energy conservation is a rather controversial topic among many modern scientists, mostly due to a fact that coldness doesn't quite work that way as it is not energy, but rather the lack of it. However, it works... somehow, so maybe it is better to not question this more than necessary.


"Equilibrium" is a short-range ultra-tech energy weapon. Has rather long recharge time due to possible overheating, but possesses a great firepower. A truly fearsome close quarter combat weapon, in the hands of a skilled shooter.


Pseudo-Scout Rifle, "Aesa P40" is a compact highly focused microwave emiter. though not very efficient in short or medium-range, it can be absolutely devastating when used in long-range. Illegal and no longer officially produced, due to a "Treaty of Ashes" signed in 5456.


An ultra-tech light machine gun. Utilize monosteel sharpened bullets to shred apart any and all targets. Somehow inaccurate. However it great firepower make it more than effective, especially against heavy armored targets. Considered as one of the most lethal and painful weapons by many Glitterworld societies.


Q: Is it Combat Extended compatible?
A: No, and we don't plan to add Combat Extended compatibility at this time, but anyone is allowed to make a patch.

Q: Are those balanced at all?
A: We hope so, by design all guns from this mod are mean to be a little bit above most of other vanillia weapons, but without overkill. We are open to any and all balancing feedback.

The thing about the "Frostmourne" cryo-laser:

Despite how many might assume such a thing to be so absurd that it could only ever exist in the realm of (pulp) science fiction or fantasy, it's really not that absurd. Cooling lasers are actually a thing, though they do have limitations. Search for articles like "UW team refrigerates liquids with a laser for the first time" or "Laser cooling of the Earth's climate". Also, there's something else called an "athermal laser" or "optically-pumped refrigerator". It works by (exciting) "a material with a photon from a laser that forces the material to radiate a more energetic photon, with a net loss of heat". Further, I could have sworn I remembered reading, many years ago, a serious article about a device that was actually built and tested, called a "macrowave", which was basically the reverse of a microwave.

Is there a version without the Exotic Engram?

I'd prefer these as just quest rewards or balanced to be crafted using vanilla resources.
