I liked it, it kinda played into how tortured he became after he saved justice from having to go back to the fade by fusing with justice (one way or the other), him being sad, insane, and tortured is that result, it also made him understand how bad blood magic really is.

This is why he tries to stop merril from delving deeper and deeper into blood magic, because he was just like her before he fucked his mind with blood magic by having two minds in one.

Like merril is, he was when it comes to blood magic and he learned the hard way, he doesn't want merril to also get seriously hurt but........

@Wirrling. I agree. I actually looked up if it was the same character, or did someone mess up and name two different NPC companions the same name. Also, he hits on male Hawke instantly after meeting him.... Left me thinking, "The hell is this 180 ish?".

darn. I so wish he still had his joking personality from dragon age origins.
The angry sad borderline insane rebel type just doesnt suit him.
