@OromisElf, I don't know when I'll get an update out again but I like the suggestions and feedback, thanks for the heads up over the image, completely forgot about it.

This looks very nice!
I'm gonna play with it next time I start up Starbound (don't want to lose my research bonus right now)
It could do with a screenshot update (the screenshots still show old stats) and a thing I'm curious about: do the "vanilla" stats stay? (i.e. increased oxygen and energy)

Also from playing it myself I do agree with you, that the dragons are really strong, and while I agree with the general idea of not making dragons unable to go on certain planet, having them be vulnerable against "modern"/"unusual" damage types sounds very fitting; so maybe they're also weak against shadow in addition to radioactive, electric, cosmic and toxic.

Another idea that I had, that I wasn't sure I could put into motion myself: making them unable to heal with healing items, since they have their meditation. You seem to know more about fr than I do (I couldn't do climate dependent resistances), so maybe you'd know how to do it :D

Honestly you could but it wouldnt be a big strength. 10-15 would be the highest it would need. Some races do have small bonuses like that. I know of one race that has 4% cosmic resist as an example so Ill leave the idea of strengths up to you i think but this new change is gonna make me use this wayyy more so thanks for being open to ideas! :os_niko:

@Scarlet-Shadows-Surge, makes sense to me, I'll decrease the electrical to 80 and and do -10 for poison and -20 for radioactive I think... I'll get rid of the cosmic weakness, in fact considering the armor limitations should I actually make it a strength? I'll just remove the weakness for now.

As for fall damage the race can already negate that natrually if you time things right so its not a major benefit. If you want it to make something for FU (ice resist is at a fine level honestly however the -110 electric can make some early planets deal almost the whole health bar in damage and often the weather starts BEFORE warning you. It would be better to have it at -80 as that is still very high but wont instantly destroy you on planets that orbit black stars like dark proto world.) Keep in mind this is all just from my experience and it could potentially just be a skill issue but i find that the dragons ability/action wheel while good overall can cause the character to slow down to be able to escape these conditions at all as you have to select what you want/need and theres a delay in it actually happening.

Futaras Dragons are powerful and fast but FU has a huge jump in difficulty and aether and ice are the most difficult in the entire game. Radioactive weakness and Poison weakness are far easier to counteract and dont make entire planets unexplorable. Cosmic is the hardest thing to actually get resistances to, and the health drains rapidly alongside energy and it cannot regenerate in aether. FU also nerfs vanilla items heavily and all in all the best items for aether are... a crystal backpack and an aether augment. Which limits options heavily. Overall I think the cosmic resist should be dropped for -20 for radioactive and poison. As that makes it so that late game isnt nearly impossible.

@Scarlet-Shadows-Surge, so what you do think? Remove the cosmic debuff? I originally had this in mind for servers given that Futara's Dragons can be a bit, powerful, VERY fast. The gimmick of the electrical resistance is to make it feel more connected to the base game and add an interesting weakness to work around. A death storm sounds horrible and I will fix that, I am very interested in hearing more of your ideas, like specifics because I'm a little out of the loop at the moment but I can still update things.

Ill be honest that I think the amount of negative resistances are a bit extreme especially since there is no actual benefit. I would rather just have the race tweaked based on what FU adds and not based on almost pure vanilla gameplay with other races as this one is very different. Also the fact that there isnt really a benefit to having this in FU Early game or late game. Only adding the negative cosmic also makes aether planets nearly unexplorable as it causes constant health damage and the only time you can get cosmic resist is after already having been to one. Meaning its just a death storm at that point.
