You could always download the more camera angles mod and that lets you see in the driver's perspective and many more views. I think, but I'm not sure, that you can press PgUp and it might switch without the mod. That is the only way that i think you can look in the cab.

In the base mod, yes. I have no clue on how to fix it, so until Stanik fixes the cam views, you're stuck with a white screen in the Driver view sadly.
