Difficulty
Note that this can be completed on any difficulty. For the fastest and safest run, there's no reason not to do it on Normal.

Character
Keep in mind that in order to obtain this achievement, all lore has to be read by the same character.

Speed
How long this achievement takes you is entirely down to your movespeed. If you're going to complete this on Normal, you're in no danger, so remove your chest armour/shield, use Haste Aura[pathofexile.gamepedia.com], your quickest boots and as many Quicksilver flasks[pathofexile.gamepedia.com] as you have.

Portals
Save your portal scrolls! After you locate a piece of lore, just exit to character selection and re-enter for a free teleport to town and simply waypoint to your next destination.

Spawn
All of the lore is guaranteed to spawn. If you can't find something, it's because it's sitting in that last pixel you haven't discovered yet. The location of most of the lore in each zone is random, so there's no way to advise you as to which direction to head.

Letters of Exile[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]

You come across these right as soon as you exit The Twilight Strand[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]. There are two ways you can approach this one. Basically there are a total of 15 letters attached to the pillars, and you read a random one every time you click on it. Technically it would take an average of 120 clicks to read all of them. What you can either do is check your progress on the achievement in-game with "H" and keep clicking it until you have 15 more discovered than before, or leave it until last and just spam it until you earn the achievement. Weathered Carving[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]

These are seven giant stones that you'll begin to encounter right after leaving Lioneye's Watch[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]. They can be found in the following areas;

• The Coast[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• Tidal Island[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• Mud Flats[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• The Ledge[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• The Rocky Climb[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• The Ship Graveyard[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• The Coves[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]

Shavronne's Journal

This is the book you see right next to Piety[pathofexile.gamepedia.com] the first time you encounter her right before Brutus[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]. To get there, waypoint to the Prison[pathofexile.gamepedia.com], then find the door to Upper Prison[pathofexile.gamepedia.com], followed by the door to The Warden's Chambers.

Arteri's Letter

Oddly enough, there's only one single piece of lore in all of act 2, and it's quite simple to find. Waypoint to The Western Forest[pathofexile.gamepedia.com] and just follow the road until you reach Captain Arteri[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]. You'll find the book in a tent nearby.

You encounter these as soon as you enter act 3. They're red markings located on walls facing north-west or north-east, and there's 6 in total. They can be found in the following areas;

• City of Sarn[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• Sarn Slums[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• Warehouses[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• Battlefront[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• The Docks[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]
  
• The Catacombs[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]

Waypoint to The Solaris Temple[pathofexile.gamepedia.com] (level 2 if you don't have it) and enter The Eternal Laboratory[pathofexile.gamepedia.com] (aka the "map room") located on either side of Lady Dialla[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]. You won't be able to read this lore on Merciless difficulty as it triggers the Map Receptacle[hydra-media.cursecdn.com].

This zone is probably going to take you longer than the rest combined. If you don't have the waypoint to it, it's connected to The Imperial Gardens[pathofexile.gamepedia.com]. It contains a total of 17 books which spawn in 3 forms. The Ancients[pathofexile.gamepedia.com] (7 of these), The Purity Chronicles[pathofexile.gamepedia.com] (6) and Victario's Writings[pathofexile.gamepedia.com] (4). One of each book is guaranteed to spawn in every instance of The Library. However, which number book that will spawn is random for all 3. If you're lucky, the fastest you can complete this section will be 7 full runs of The Library, but it takes an average of 28 which is also close to what it took me.

After you've completed a run, you'll need to reset the instance before doing it again so that you don't have to wait 15 minutes for it to expire. To do this, leave the library and Control + left click the instance entrance to get the "Instance Manager" displayed below. From this, you can start a fresh run.



There's four ways to go about this depending on what's closest to you. Either exit the main entrance to the library, leave via the waypoint, click on the Loose Candle[i.imgur.com] to open the entrance of The Archives[pathofexile.gamepedia.com], or exit to character selection to waypoint back to town. Note that this doesn't reset the instance, you'll still need to Control + left click the waypoint.

This is located on the first floor in The Sceptre of God[pathofexile.gamepedia.com] right by the main entrance. You can either waypoint to there which takes you to the third floor, or waypoint to The Imperial Gardens and head north-east.
