Description
Set of 35 utility marking props, for extreme detailers. Often seen spray-painted on pavement or streets, these markings are used to help workers visualize the location of underground utilities during construction projects.

They are props and not decals, which lets them share the same texture and use far less RAM if you use Loading Screen Mod (which you should).

They don't conform to terrain, so you'll need to use them on mostly flat surfaces. You'll also need to lower them slightly if you place them on streets, or they will visibly 'float' above the surface. Just place the props first then select and lower them all at once instead of trying to do it one-by-one ;)

Use Find It and Move It mods to place and adjust props.

They are all low in tris, share the same textures, and have custom LODs.

If you don't want to use all of the props after subscribing, you can find the folder for this asset (steam\steamapps\workshop\content\255710\2099594547) and delete any unwanted props.

unfortunately, it's more work to convert these from prop=>decal than it might seem, because of how these assets were textured

They all share space on a single texture, instead of being individual textures at a smaller resolution (which is required for the decal shader AFAIK)

I wish it was easier to update/reimport assets in this game..I will try to adjust their saturation when I add decal versions.

Could you lower the saturation of the red marks? please

Cheers, I will experiment with some decal versions as well if I have time ^^
Unfortunately they won't be able to share textures (and therefore RAM), but maybe it won't matter because they are so small in scale.

It'd be nice to have decal versions as well, for those willing to take a bit of a RAM hit but with the advantage of use on uneven surfaces

These are very cool! Thanks.

Fantastic, now my city's construction workers will know where to dig up the road and then not repair it.
