I miss this game. I need to get my Dreamcast out again

I wanna play the XBox game one day, thought... that one looks graphically amazing from what I've seen of it.

True, H-03; the missiles looked nicer on PS2, the particles really made a world of difference; I seem to remember it having better skyboxes, and even some sprites for clouds floating around, quite like in Ace Combat 5, which is definitely a plus; but all else being lower resolution and more blurry when compared to the Dreamcast game.

...but it's been so long; I'll probably give the PS2 game another spin one of the days; it should to be fun.

Also Ps2 missiles looked the tiniest bit nicer with a slight wobble and particles instead of trails, too bad every missile that isn't your own doesnt have that fx.

Texture details on ps2 were better for background elements such as clouds and terrain. But assets like the planes and buildings were lower rez a lil.

I played the PS2 game as well; it is actually the third one in the series, the second came out on XBox and the first on Dreamcast.

I remember the PlayStation 2 sequel being kinda fun for a while, but I always preferred the original on Dreamcast; it's a simpler game, kinda like, a better Ace Combat 2, it's also more grounded, more addictive & to the point than the PS2 sequel.

Always found the Dreamcast game to look nicer, too, it's more colourful and texture detail seem to be of higher quality, but haven't played the PS2 game in years make a proper comparison.

I had that game for the PS2. Totally different graphics, but I would say this looks more appropriate for the overall game.
