I use these all the time. They definitely work.
They are not switches though. They will not pass power from one line to another.

Seemed to have found the original version. Thanks for sharing, subbed accordingly.

As small and yet as significant these are it annoys me that they have such a large footprint when you are trying to squeeze them in.

Fiend ! There is an interesting feature of this mod, if you place the building without automatic construction of the road then this road will not fail . :-(

I've tried, but it doesn't seem to work. It can either act as a substation or a transformer, but not both.

Gotcha. Makes sense. Any way you could make one with a throughput, like that high voltage transformer?
