Newcastle Class Support Ship

A semi modular support vessel, she is survival ready. Only two mods I had active was the colorized hud and industrial cockpits, vanilla otherwise.

The Newcastle class support vessel was initially a materials tender, intended for retrieval of ores mined off asteroids. During wartime, she was retrofitted with refinement and assembly ability, in order to construct small orbital assets and enable spot repairs for critical functions of larger vessels where travel to a shipyard or dockyard is not feasible. The Newcast has a limited internal design, small crew compartment with automated medicle system, small one ship hanger meant for utility craft. Most notably, is the docking clamps and connector allowing her to dock with a H2 based drive assembly, allowing the Newcastle to have limited operation within a moon enviroment."


The ship handles poorly, intentional. She is a slow, non combat support ship. While with the H2 drive assemble (included) the ship has not been tested in atmo flight, attempt at own risk.


This is my first true ship build, I know its rather bland. I intend to add better detail to future ships.
