Description

Betrayer takes its influence from the Roanoke mystery -- Roanoke being a 16th century English colony in Virginia which just went missing. This was a colony was known to be harried by Spanish forces, but on arriving to investigate Roanoke's silence Governor John White found no signs of struggle and no trace of the inhabitants.

And Betrayer is no more forthcoming with the details, because this is a good old-fashioned mystery.  Intercepted by Spanish ships, you find yourself stranded on a beach and left to get on with things.  You're not told why you're there.  You're not told what you have to do.  You just go about your business... whatever that is.
