Spoiler Alert - I know this game has been out for ever but there is a slight spoiler about half-way through the video, just in case someone watching has not played it.

If you have not played Borderlands 2, play vanilla first.  This mod isn't to patch what is already an excellent game.  Its meant for people who have played it for hundreds or even thousands of hours.

Infinity Pistol was never very high on my Good Guns list for BL2.  Trickster Maya could get make it pop with the Bee Shield and having 100% Kinetic Reflection.  I am not sure why the Mod changed the gun from a 1 ammo and no reload to having a magazine with a very high regeneration.  Seems very open to exploit to get pistol ammo for other weapons.  Accuracy seems better although there is still a lot of bullets flying off target.  Damage feels comparable to other legendary weapons although it might be on the high side.  I do have a Pistol Damage relic as well as a fire rate bonus from the Trickster Com and it is Normal mode so things should die easily.

As far as my thoughts on the changes on Maya, I would say that they are positive but a bit mixed.  I am a little unsure about the change in the Capstones.  The really seem to be irrelevant and a lot of good builds would never have to use any of them.  Cloudkill is removed and a lot of the skills in Cataclysm tree are aimed at fire and burn damage.   I think that might hamper Maya on doing Peak runs although I have not seen if there are any changes in the Digi Peak enemies resistances.  Wreck was taken out and replaced with Heavy Hitter which seems like a waste of skill points.

On the positive side, I think it is nice that Maya can slag things reliably without going all the way to the Ruin which I always had a bit of a problem with because of the number of lack luster skills in the Vanilla Cataclysm tree.  Separating the Slag from the Visual Pollution of Ruin is also welcome which leaves me less inclined to get Ruined in the modded game.

The other major change is to take Scorn and change it to Fire and put it half-way up the Cataclysm tree.  I have to say its pretty fun against fleshy enemies.  I would have loved to see something other than just fire though.  It would be cool if the orb changed depending on what element your equipped weapon had.  Maybe that would make the game too easy.

I kind of forgot that you could phaselock buzzards.
