[8-Slot] Reaver-Marauder Mk1 Destroyer

Version 2a

The R-M is an off-shoot of the Reaver series. Starting out as a redesign of the Mk1 Reaver, it almost immediately became it's own thing. While the current version uses the nacelles from the Reaver (retooled & repainted), it has its own struts and a from-scratch main body. The R-M is tough enough to go toe to toe with most enemies outside the core.

Hanger space for 12 squads of size 1 fighters.
An internalized main hanger behind some frontal armor and 26 externals to quickly launch and recover fighters.
Internal balancing, with components of highest mass placed closest to the Center of Mass, reducing the need for thrusters/gyros.
Lots of 0.5 thick armor on most parts of the main body.
Mounting space on the stem for a coaxial weapon.
13 +size hardpoints for main weapons.
15 0.5 size hardpoints on top of the hull and 6 0.5 hardoints on the underside for heavy anti-torpedo/fighter coverage.
A full set of 10 torpedo launchers with 343 units of storage space.
