So, you've found yourself a few mates, who are willing to work together with you. Now you must all choose your aircraft.

Here i will list formations of aircraft, and which aircraft to choose.

Air Cover consists of one Attacker/Bomber, while the others fly Fighters/Multiroles.

Tactics:

The Fighters should position themselves in a triangle formation, surrounding the Attacker/Bomber. The one at the front should ideally be using 4AAM, or 6AAM, or if possible, ADMM, while the two behind him snipe with SAAM's. The Attacker/Bomber should be packing 4AGM's, or GPB if 4AGM is not possible. If a bogey gets behind the Attacker/Bomber and activate DFM, then get one of the fighters to break off and clear the Attacker/Bomber. Don't be afraid to let the enemy get behind a fighter to protect the Attacker; the Fighters are agile, the Attacker usually isn't.

When to use:

When the enemy has many fighters on their side, then use this to minimize the risk of losing Air-to-Ground firepower. The fighters MUST stay with the Attacker/Bomber, otherwise he his a flying skeet, ripe for the DFM kill.

Scorpion


Scorpion is designed to dispose of a troublesome fighter.

The Scorpion consists of four fighters focused on agility.

Tactics:

The Scorpion is initiated with three of the fighters staying away from the target, while one fighter is the "Bait". The Bait flies in front of the target, and allows him to get DFM on him. What direction the enemy will fly is now determined by the one who is escaping. Then, the bait must lure the target over to the others, who bombard the target with missiles to catch him/her off guard.

When to use:

When a single fighter who shows exceptional skill, and is disrupting attacks in the area, The Scorpion works 90% of the time, unless the target isn't blinded by DFM, and knows when to disengage. Most skilled players become absorbed in shooting down the target, and forget to watch their backs when in DFM.
