This mod is a reworked version of GBJ Blood Mod: The Samurai Blood mod. Most of the GBJ Blood Mod’s content is here except of its custom fire and smoke effects. What’s new is blood texture masks for heroes’ and Fall of the Samurai units’ equipment.

Change List

GBJ Blood Mod adjusts blood effects and adds new terrain and equipment blood texture masks. Aside from that here’s what changed in the reworked version:
  • Fire and smoke effects removed and reverted to their original state;
  • Removed on-screen blood splash;
  • Added blood textures (blood masks) for heroes’ and Fall of The Samurai units’ equipment;
  • Reworked the original blood textures for vanilla Shogun 2 units’ equipment.

this is just a retexture mod , so don't get how it could impact decapitation chance since it does not touch animations or any thing to the effect
