2016 NYPD Ford Taurus

Ford's Police Sedan is no longer a top choice for many departments, but the NYPD has a few in service. Crusing along 168th Street, you can often find one next to the newer Ford Fusion (which is privately available, public release late November).

All NYPD vehicles carry no flares. Lights DO flash during emergency responses, as explained in the second photo. However, the in game flares do not work well with rotating lights, so I buried the flares deep into the ground. This is NOT a bug.

Use Service Vehicle Selector or Service Vehicle Manager (my preferred utility) to set police/prison vehicles types for your stations/prisons.

Use Invisible Spawn Points to fine tune your spawning and create more realistic depots!

Stats are same as the default police car. Use Advanced Vehicle Options Mod to change it to fit your needs.

Lightbar derived from False Lucidity's 1980 Police Car. However, texture was done by meticulously stitching together images to lend realism to the non translucent lightbar. Dreamy made the original version. Redone mapping to allow for higher definition double sided textures. NYPD Textures based from real life photos.
