This is the Vanilla version of this mod. The ACE compatible version of this mod can be found at the following location:

Accuracy International AXMC Series of sniper rifles added. Currently the pack includes .338 (Lapua Magnum), .300(Winchester Magnum) and .308(Winchester)/7.62x51 calibres in 27", 26" and 26" barrels respectively.
Manual bolting with (vanilla) hand animation now added. The manual bolting/reload is delayed until you release your 'hold breath' action. Similarlty, if you continue to hold the trigger after shooting, the manual bolting/reload will be delayed until the trigger is released. These are my prefered options for allowing visibility down the scope of the shot landing.

HK416A5 series includes:
11” barrel - CQB variant
14.5” barrel - traditional carbine length
16.5” barrel – can be used in the light auto rifle role due to availability of 60rnd Surefire Magazine
20” barrel – DMR variant.

HK417A2 series includes:
13” barrel assaulter variant
16.5” barrel recce model
20” barrel marksman model

All the individual variants have different stats to represent their real world counterparts as closely as possible while remaining sympathetic to the original ARMA world.

UGL models will hopefully follow in a few months time

When BI added HK416s and HK417s to the Arma series, I was delighted. However, little things like the scope position or the grip on the magwell always irked me somewhat. So inspired by all the other great mod makers out there, I decided to try to make my own versions.

The first part of the mod pack is the HK417A2 with all 3 barrel length that HK produce as well as the ‘standardised’ colours.
HK416A5s will follow.
Mods in this series will not be as efficient as the wonderful RHS in terms of sections, poly count and overall memory usage. Nor will they have the fantastically involving sounds of SMA. However, if you want a pack that gives you the full series of each model, this might be the mod for you.

Ah - just had a read of the Grave's Spa re-textures notes and they state clearly they break anything that inherits from vanilla mags.
Texture paths will be different in SPS stuff but the fact he says it breaks RHS and 3CB again suggests he might be modifying base classes which then cause compatibility issues with other mods.

I've not looked for a year or so but last time I looked Aegis is horrific for breaking many, many things.
They used to modify game base classes which is a massive no-no for compatibility with just about anything as everything else in the game will inherit from this and if it's not as expected, things just won't work as they should. Not sure if they still do this but that would be one of the first things that could be worth trying.

I repaired the mod last night and nothing changed as far as the texture warping of the totally cool and awesome magazines, otherwise I pretty much just run mods as far as vanilla goes from people like Grave of E22, POLPOX, the Aegis team, WebKnight, and some smaller legit mods, it could be something like Grave's JCA mods which change pre-existing models and textures and replaces them with stuff made by him and his team. I'll fuck around with my modpack, find out if it changes anything and then mald if it doesn't.

@Wheezer this is a complete stand alone mod pack so no other dependencies (other than CBA) should be required.
You could try repairing the mod to see if anything has become corrupted - just right click on it in the A3 launcher and repair should be an option.

One thing I would note is that there are various other illegal rips of this mod and sections of it floating about which have corrupted parts of SPS when run simultaneously.
So I would strongly recommend only run mods made with authentic and legal content.

Hello, I'm curious about how I am supposed to load this mod should I load it as part of a modpack or on it's own? I've been having issues with the various 416 pmag magazines where the textures are warped and not where they would supposedly be. If it's able to be fixed I'd appreciate it, if not it's no big deal have a good day!
