Its trueskill, similar to chess in that it takes the ratings of you and your oponent and gives you more points for beating a better opponent, and you lose more for losing to worse oponents. This was quite soon after a ladder reset, so it means very little. Im still in the top league though :D (its split into 9 leagues of players based on ranking)
