Sifu is a game that tests your ability in reflexes, decision making, and energy management. No same level will play the same. If you play inconsistently, the game would be much harder to predict. Enemy NPCs don't stick to one routine and tend to play out and spread their attack patterns sporadically which makes blocking all of it a hit or miss.

The game takes its roots from souls-like difficulty, leaving room for improvement on every run, it doesn't hold your hand and it places you in a stale lock with your opponent, if you lack the skills to do so, the replayability makes sure of it that you get your skills straightened through second runs and such, which makes this game very rewarding and satisfying.

Overall, if you like martial arts, souls-like combat like Sekiro, and smooth animations, then this game is for you.

What an underrated gem, I have seen several YouTubers back in 2016 played this game and thought it wasn't that anything special, proved me wrong when I played it for myself, had a blast from games produced by Remedy studio. Played Alan Wake and Control and was fully immersed with their story, but sometimes becomes weak after the end game nonetheless still good story. Quantum Break is the same and I hope Remedy still masters their storyline writing.
