A lot of negativity around this game is from people that don't understand mechanics of the game and don't want to learn
or don't know how rougelite works. You are supposed to die a lot and being punished for exploring too much you are supposed to maximise your current run with cards you get and clear hatered at the obelisk get as far as possible die and unlock new cards to get more enjoyable run next time with more variety of cards to choose from your deck. People come to this game with wrong mindset too "I just want to beat this game quickly". Devs did a really good job on the game it's not their bad you choose to be ignorant prick.
