i have been playing State of Decay 2 for about 5 or 6 years now. i first discovered this game on my Xbox via game pass and now play it on my phone wherever i go via Xbox's Cloud Gaming service. i wish i was friends with with the developers over @Undead Labs, because these guys are cool as f#(k! Consistent updates, that only make the game bigger, better, and more intuitive for the player, all for completely free! This game launched with only three maps, and boom! Now there are five, plus the heartland map and daybreak game modes. if you're looking for your next openworld, zombie, roguelike, then look no further! State of Decay 2 get's my 2024 Steam Labor of Love nomination, and 5 severed freak zombie limbs out of 5.
