Engaging and comprehensive open-world game, beautifully realistic characters with lots of customization, great fighting mechanics with cool special effects, and nearly endless opportunities for side-quests along with a fairly good main story. My only complaint is the resolution - I could never get it quite right even after multiple attempts. Either the text would be absurdly small, even for someone with glasses, or the menus would crowd the screen when I tried to make the text large enough to be legible. I still have fond memories of this game though, and will probably come back to it when I'm ready to start squinting at my screen again.

Graphics are delightful, story isn't bad, but would only recommend if you have enough time to grind endlessly and risk getting swarmed and killed in certain areas. Granted, I'm far from the greatest RPG player of all time, but I just couldn't warm up to the mechanics. Just felt like endless repetitive hack and slash, which isn't my favorite way to pass the time after long work days.

After seeing ads for this game everywhere (including positive 'reviews' by actual cats!!!) I couldn't resist giving it a try. And I was not disappointed in the slightest. The mechanics are great for all skill levels, the graphics are top-notch, and the storyline is purrfection. (Yes, I had to.)

Not only did this game unlock a hidden desire to live life as a well-loved feline, but I never thought I'd find myself so fond of these robots. I loved their little face-screens with different expressions and all the personalities I encountered. I've yet to meet any of the actual humans - if they still exist - but the robots are precious cinnamon rolls and must be protected at all costs.

15/10 would play again after I finish this!

P.S.: Although it's probably not feasible, I really hope the devs make an open world version of this, where the cat has more options to jump! Can't get enough of the dystopian setting and the little signs of humanity that turn up when you explore.

I've only been raving about this for the last few weeks! Best cyberpunk open-world game I've played to date, hands down. Even though I've already played through the main storyline and all but one of the side quests, I still find myself coming back just to keep exploring and discovering random easter eggs, fighting the occasional gangsta, etc. Really hope they update this game soon!!!

Side note: Since I didn't play this game with the intention of romancing any characters at first, I didn't really care whether the romance side stories were written well or not, but I wanted to check off those quests anyways. (And found them extremely dull.) The only male lead I was remotely interested in was Takemura who isn't one of the options, buuuut hopefully the devs change their mind there lol.

That minor complaint aside, this game was worth every penny. I can't get over how comprehensive the world is, how well-written the main story was, how realistic even the NPCs behave (except during some fight sequences). Upgrading skills never feels like too much of a grind and you can literally just spend your time driving or walking around, wreaking havoc like in GTA and still have a blast. Definitely setting the bar high for any other cyberpunk games I play in the future.

Beautiful and bittersweet little game, with great art to match. The story was a bit short but meaningful nonetheless - I do wish there was a prequel/sequel though given the main character's immortality, and I'd like to see if there was any possibility of him becoming mortal again.

Beautiful game - played through a second time from scratch since I lost my old account, and it's just as awesome as it was the first time. Once you get through all the main and side quests it slows down a little, but the open world experience is one of a kind.
