Love the drawings, the meows, and the relaxing music. And of course, the recurrence of cat balls in this series will never cease to amuse me.

Cute and easy cat game, just like all the others I've played before. Wasn't expecting to see cat balls while looking for them though! Lol

Sad to say that I had to refund this. The premise seemed solid based on the store page - trying to piece together clues to someone's disappearance when you only have their phone - and the general interface was well done, but that was about it. My first hour of playing this mostly consisted of:

  • Listening to overdramatic, very slowly worded voice messages.
  • Piecing together "corrupted" pictures and texts that had absolutely nothing to do with Anna's disappearance.
  • Wondering if a proofreader was ever used for this game. Most of the articles and texts gave me the impression that English isn't the developer's first language. While I have nothing against that, coming across awkward grammar really took the immersion out of a mostly text-based game.
  • Sitting through consecutive rounds of text-vomit finger-pointing from Greg and Taylor. I truly detest people who text at a rate of 50 messages/min when a single sentence would have sufficed. I didn't think it could get any worse, but in came the relationship drama...
  • An overall disconnect between the gameplay and the plot. A girl disappears with clear hints of some non-human entity behind it, so why am I wasting my time investigating the sorry backgrounds of two garden-variety losers?

Maybe the game gets better beyond the 1.7-hour point, but I really didn't have the patience to sit through constant notifications from the Male MC Idiot Express while waiting for some actual horror story to happen. Honestly, I'd have been happier to just shut the damn phone off and actually set out to find Anna door to door. At least then the "investigation" would have felt more productive.

Super glad I got this, and it's practically a steal for its price point, if you're looking solely for an aesthetic productivity app. The music was amazing, especially the cyberpunk playlist, which had the perfect vibes for the story I've been trying to write. I also loved the art and customization options, and the only things I haven't found myself using were the world chat and letters, since I don't really care about socializing in games. Although this has the same functionality as Spirit City, the music and aesthetic really make it a worthy companion.

Of all the hidden object games I've played so far, this one had some of the best art and music around, along with a cute and heartwarming little story. If there's anything that needs to be improved, I'd only want the UI to be a little more transparent or fade out, since it sometimes hides items near the bottom of the screen.

To the reviewers who downvoted this game "on principle" because they had to pay for a DLC that costs 2.99 at full price, 2.39 on discount at the time of writing... Please get a job if it's that hard for you to support what's clearly a loving work of art that took much time and effort to put together. The developers, artists, and composers deserve more compensation than the little they're already asking; have the decency to recognize that they're also people who would like to see some return for their hard work. This shouldn't even need to be said, but I guess there's always a few out there who need to hear and learn it.

I like how each one of these hidden cat games has its own unique quirks. There was relaxing music and cute art as usual, but the random sound effects (doors knocking, water flowing, etc) based on where you clicked were a nice touch. Also liked the fact that you could get an achievement by clicking on the seagulls (which meow just like the cats lol).

Short and sweet little puzzle game with cute (and snarky) cats! The art style and animation were especially nice, and I liked that the difficulty didn't scale up too much, with options to add a silhouette or align the puzzle pieces, which made for a relaxing experience.

Really cute character with a decent range of animations and chat options. I also found the menu more user-friendly than other simulator apps and better to look at.
