Quite possibly one of the greatest games ever made. Now, most people would think this game is basically just DOOM in full 3D, but it’s much more than that. It was not only an evolution for id Software, but for the FPS genre as a whole. Movement is much more fluid and precise, enemies are aggressive and feel like their own challenge, and each level is designed to test the player’s skill.
The additions that this enhancement makes are great in their own right, making things finer. However, the gibs and Mission Pack weapons & enemies appear to have been left out of the equation when it comes to changes.
The Addon feature from the DOOM I & II remasters makes a return and all of the current map packs are worth the price of admission alone.
Overall, a phenomenal game and as close to a perfect remaster as far as I’m concerned.
(And to my buddies who play the Team Fortress games, why haven’t you played this yet?!)

For an arcade style game, this quickly became one of my favorite not just arcade games, but games in general. I’ve played the games that Antonball Deluxe takes inspiration from, and I can say wholeheartedly that it captures the feel flawlessly! The controls are snappy and responsive, each character oozes charm with their voices art style, and the game is just good ol’ arcade fun! I congratulate, or rather, CONGLATURATE the developers and everyone involved in this game. I personally cannot wait for ANTONBLAST. (TL;DR: This game is balls)

What can I say that hasn’t already been said about Team Fortress 2? This is THE team-hero/class-shooting-themed hat-simulator. While it wasn’t the first game to have classes or characters with specific stats and abilities (I mean, it is a sequel), it was the first to truly find how to get every element to work together in harmony. From its characters, weapons, and cosmetics, Team Fortress 2 has been the gold standard for many games of its genre, such as Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and Overwatch.
With its constant support of Community creations, TF2 has managed to stay alive and well for nearly twenty years after its initial release.
While it certainly isn’t a perfect game, it is definitely a fun game and will likely stay one for years to come.
