Spent 20 minutes choking my chicken to what is essentially a moving png of an anime woman on your desktop , and eventually gave my wooden desk a little glue job. Hopefully it doesn't affect the feng shui of my room

Highly recommend this MMO, the hugest compliment I could give this game is that I found out that It wasn't pay to win or pay to skip (the grind), the battlepass is 100% cosmetics.
"Oh my, a free MMO that isn't pay to win nor pay to skip? And the only things you can buy are cosmetics?"
The core gameplay loop is addictive, and some of the side quests actually made me emotional, which is surprising considering this is an MMO.

The most glaring issue I have with this game is the seasonal resets, essentially all progression except items, weapons, weapon mods etc. in the previous season are wiped, a system kinda like rust. This makes me scratch my head, why does an MMO with a massive world and campaign need a server wipe? You're just gonna lose at least a 1/4 of your player base because no one is happy to hear that their progress will be wiped, it'll destroy player motivation to keep playing.

HOWEVER, I did hear that the developers know this system is unpopular, and may be open minded to remove this wipe feature all together, which I hope they do, otherwise it'll nuke the player base and Netease will be in the next youtube video - "What went wrong with Once Human?"

It's a thumbs down review, but I still recommend giving the game a try IF you have a friend group who consistently plays together (preferably 6+ people)
Sketchy's contracts' core gameplay loop is very similar to Lethal Company, you even complete contracts (quota) for a being beyond your comprehension that kills you if you fail. However, it contains a lot of cool features that make it stand out from Lethal such as a spacious and cozy space station (company building), and open world planets with resource gathering tied in with exploring a facility for loot.
Me and my friend played together, and found the gameplay loop enjoyable and its identity uniquely different from Lethal.
HOWEVER, the TTK (for players, not enemies) is very quick. This game's enemies are very punishing. We failed the quota a couple of times because a 10 second interaction with a mimic killed me and my friend very quickly. We've noticed a lot of the enemies even on the starting two moons, such as the mimic and crawler, does a considerable amount of damage and can quickly kill you.
Furthermore, there are enemies in the beginner planets that can kill you instantly such as the cartoonish looking cube. Discovering a new entity and instantly dying to it doesn't make the game fun and challenging, just challenging-ly annoying because now you lost your equipment and have to start from zero.
Me and my friend concluded that you must have AT LEAST 4 people playing because holy, is it difficult with just the two of us. The game seems to be balanced for a full team of 8 people, but we don't have 6 other people who've purchased this game and are available to play. Additionally, randoms can't join our public server for some reason.
In short, I really like the game's concept, but if it's just you and your buddy, you have to be seal team 6 in order to progress to the other more difficult maps because it's designed for 8 players.

After the recent balance patch, I would love to see the devs responsible try out D7 TO D9 difficulty

"We want players to rely on their powerful stratagems, not their primaries" That would be nice if the rate of bug breaches and elite enemies spawn rates didn't far exceed the rate at which stratagems can be called in again. Oh, and to piss in our cereal further, 100% cool-down modifier.

"If you're complaining, just play on lower difficulties" is the worst argument defending the balance patch. Why cant a major percentage of players in the community want to play a higher difficulty as a fun challenge? Before the patch, the bug breach and elite enemy rate was fair. D7 to D9 difficulty was very challenging, but the key thing that it was challenging-ly ENJOYABLE. After the secret buff to enemy spawns, the higher difficulties just became a grind, way too challenging to the point it wasn't even fun to play them anymore. That's the main issue, they're not fun anymore because the developers thought they needed to make the game even more difficult, then gaslight players rightly complaining about it.

WE ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT IT BECAUSE WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME.

i couldn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the railgun and breaker nerf, they're still viable and usable.
I have not seen one person use the Dagger pistol lmao at all since the new battlepass released

*NEW SUPPORT WEAPONS DROPPED* I assumed both would be ass because of Arrowhead's dogwater balancing philosophy but I was proved wrong when I tried out the Quasar: This ♥♥♥♥ slaps so hard against the bots. It's an anti-tank/heavy weapon that frees up a backpack space. Long charge up time however can two shot tanks (one in vent, one on turret), one shot mortars, airships (objective), drop ships, and hulks (red eye). Overall viable weapon and it's satisfying when you hit the weakspot on the hulk.

HOWEVER, I am predicting a "We've noticed that too many people are having fun with the Quasar, and we have deemed it too viable and too fun here at Arrowhead. Therefore, we are implementing a slight nerf which includes increased charge time by 3.5 seconds, increased inertia, decreased damage. Hulks, Bile titans and Chargers now require 7 headshots from the quasar." and remember, use your stratagems, not your guns! (unless there's a jammer, 100% call in time, ion storm, and orbital fluctuations, then go ♥♥♥♥ yourself, because we like doing so too at Arrowhead :3)

Then there's the HMG support weapon...75 round capacity, long static reload, ads sight misaligned with barrel, huge recoil etc. Watched one video reviewing it, instantly knew it's not viable nor fun, just annoying. Just use the LMG or Stalwart.
"But it has a quick TTK against chargers!" Yeah, so does an EAT-17, recoilless rifle, and orbital railcannon. Why bother using the HMG for heavies when you literally have so many anti tank options

New Balance Patch:
I have no idea why they nerfed the slugger, it already had two major drawbacks: Slow fire rate (pump action) , and manual reloading of shells. Now, it does decreased stagger and overall damage, becoming useless in controlling medium targets such as brood commanders and devastators. What am I supposed to use it as? People defending the nerf says just aim for headshots on automatons, but that just sounds like a role for a DMR or sniper, essentially they're sucking Arrowhead's ♥♥♥♥ again and saying "get good". How about the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ devs get good at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ making fairly balanced changes? Some people say they should've nerfed the range, but like it's called a 'Slugger'; firing SLUG rounds, designed for long range engagements. Oh well, the community will replace the slugger with another broken gun before that too is nerfed into the ground

Final update:
With each balance patch that comes out, weapons or stratagems i enjoy eventually get nerfed to the point I just can't enjoy them at the same level before the patch. Why get excited to play Helldivers after work if every weapon I enjoyed is nerfed, and I am forced to pick the other mediocre weapons that don't fit my playstyle? I voice my concerns on their discord server or reddit, but get downvoted by the toxically positive fanboys that defend everything that AH does. At this rate, Helldiver's player count will dwindle, not because of natural decline because people want to play other games, but because AH seems to consistently make poor decisions that make people rightfully frustrated.

Core gameplay is quite fun when you have the best build but most of the time it's up to RNG to get the best cards.
NSFW scenes are okay, but some backgrounds and animations are reused.
The writing is terrible as expected for a $4 hentai game (i.e. there is barely characterisation and the girls do not have any personality: You know a man wrote the dialogue :skull)

Halo: Infinite Pain.
- U.I is poorly designed since it caters for Xbox players only.
- Poor visual representation for miscellaneous things such as equipped cosmetics and members in your party.
- ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ retarded shop that forces you to buy item bundles instead of giving you an option to buy separate items from within that bundle.
- $30 for add-ons for your suit.
- ♥♥♥♥♥♥ server lag and matchmaking errors.
- For some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason, you cannot be in the same squad as your friends, especially in big battle modes. You and your friends will get placed in squads with random people. So you'll have to look at all of the blue names to find your friends on the map.
- Weekly Challenges are restrictive, not diverse, and are generally not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun. They force you do to certain game modes that you don't want to play, but have to if you want to level up in the battle pass.
- if you were to rely on daily challenges instead, it will take 10 years just to level up once in the battle pass.
Core Gameplay is fun, but the ludicrous prices in shop, and the terrible U.I gives me ♥♥♥♥ and Ball Torture syndrome. Do I recommended? Wait 6 years for content and for 343 to develop brain cells adequate enough to not make retarded decisions. it's been three months but the obvious issues haven't been solved.
