Having a Sonic game be not just good, but good enough to where even non Sonic fans don't treat it like a laughing stock, is wild to me. Hopefully Sonic Team can translate the massive upgrade in animation and level design into the future (maybe even better than Spark 3?). Also 06 love is always appreciated, especially with the announcement of an official remake.

This game is what I have wanted from Sonic for my entire life, but never truly realized until I play it. Sonic Team should honestly be embarrassed at the sheer levels of control and variety that is packed into a game way cheaper than nearly any game they have released. Feperd Games have polished the formula of the Adventure games to a razor's edge. An irreverent yet innovative gem that the genre really needs right now in a sea of Mario inspired works.

only bad thing is the mandatory tutorials and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ controller support, otherwise it’s easily the best smash clone out there
